Single Vision
Crizal Sapphire
Whether we are at home, at work, or shopping, we are exposed to multiple sources of light. Coming from all angles, light reaches your lenses and creates reflections. These reflections can be a source of discomfort and impact your everyday life by making us adopt new behaviours, consciously and subconsciously. We adjust our heads, change our posture or even remove our spectacle lenses, just to reduce the visual impacts of reflections. Crizal Sapphire UV reduces reflections regardless of where the light comes from. By reducing the amount of reflections, your vision will be purer, with more vivid images and improved lens aesthetics when others look at you.
Crizal Sapphire UV ensures your spectacle lenses are resistant and repellent from scratches, smudges, water droplets and dust particles. This means your lenses are incredibly protected, which comes in handy when facing everyday activities.
Eyezen
Regular single vision lenses only consider the prescription in far vision, meaning the lens is only optimised through the optical centre. The wearer’s prescription is not maintained when looking at close distance, creating power error and unwanted astigmatism in near vision. Wearers may not identify this loss of acuity, but their eyes are working harder and this can cause eye fatigue. Our goal is to provide you with a modern solution to the modern problem of excessive screen use. Eyezen lenses are a range of eye protection lenses designed for those who live a connected life. These lenses are designed to reduce eyestrain throughout the day, so whether you work in a digital environment, are a regular video gamer, or an avid social media fan, Eyezen lenses will help increase your comfort.
By looking after your eyes during the day you’ll feel less tired, more productive and relaxed. 92% of Eyezen wearers were satisfied with their lenses, so why wait? These lenses can be provided for extra comfort whether you have a prescription or not.
Road Pilot
We are all spending more time on the road, but the same problem comes up every time we are behind the wheel: we don’t feel as comfortable when driving at night. In fact, 17 million drivers in the UK struggle to see at night.
Did you know?
Lights at night can create reflections and glare on our glasses. These reflections and glare disturb our eyes, creating discomfort and lower visual acuity. They can come from all directions and different sources (headlights, traffic lights, street lamps), turning the driving experience into an inconvenience more than a real pleasure.
Paired with Crizal Drive anti-reflective coating, Road Pilot offers:
- Up to 90% less reflections at night, leading to a decrease in glare
- Optimal clarity of vision during the day and night
- A larger, more enhanced field of vision for varifocal wearers
- Complete protection against scratches, smudges, dust, water, harmful UV and blue-violet light
Transitions
If you regularly wear specs, there has probably been a moment in time where you’ve been unhappy with them whilst being out in the sunshine. It can be annoying having to switch from your regular pair of spectacles to your prescription sunglasses whilst changing from one setting to another.
To combat this many people opt for photochromic lenses, which are also known as Transitions lenses. These are lenses which adjust to changes in light to optimise your eyesight.
When you’re exposed to ultraviolet light, the lenses darken to resemble sunglasses. Unlike sunglasses, which have a set tint, Transitions lenses are constantly adapting to your surrounding light conditions. The constant and smooth transition allows you to see well in many different lighting conditions.
Xperio
When light waves reflect off flat surfaces; such as roads, water or ice, it becomes polarised, or is reflected horizontally. This is known as blinding glare, which can be uncomfortable for our eyes. Xperio Polarised technology allows only vertical light through the lens, and therefore eliminates blinding glare for optimal visual comfort and enhanced colour perception.
Xperio polarising lenses have an Eye-Sun Protection Factor of 50+, which means they give your eyes 50 times more protection than wearing no lenses. They’re ideal for driving, sports and other outdoor activities, and for people with light sensitivity.
